Dear system partners,
a new version of the RCO-tool is available for download in the partner portal.
And with the new version of the RCO-tool the Datapointlist is added, which offers many new functions that reduce the workload even more.
Datapointlist
The Datapointlist with its folder structure provides a much clearer view of all data points in the Controller.
With the search function, all data points can be searched more quickly and effectivitly. With the right click function “GOTO” you can jump directly to the data point.
But the most powerfull function is, that data points can be assigned to the I/O-Level from the Datapointslist. This means that it is no longer necassary to create and type data point names from the I/O-assignment, these are simply linked via the Datapointslist after programming.
In this video, you can see how it works exactly.
In line with the datapointlist, we have also further revised our standard modules and the fully integrated modules, so that they work even better with the data point list. Please pay attention to the different versions.
Standard Modules 1.6
The standard modules were completely revised and adapted to work with the datapointlist. Furthermore the library was extended by some modules. For a detailed list of the changes, please refer to the system documentation.
Due to the extensive changes, the standard modules of version 1.6 are not backwards compatible with version 1.5.
Please be careful when editing or extending projects created with the standard modules of version 1.5 or older.
Fully integrated Modules 2.6
The fully integrated modules were also slightly revised and adapted to work with the data point list. Please delete the modules of version 2.5 completely and replace them with the new version 2.6.
In order to simplify working with the datapoint list even more, the inputs and outputs of the modules have been additionally labelled. Thus, a search for the term “input” or “output” can now be used to quickly link the I/O level.
Additional new features of the RCO-tool:
- BACnet and Modbus TCP can be activated simultaneously.
- The scaling function can be activated under RCO-Web Settings.
- System documentation was updated.
You will find version 2.4.6 of the RCO-tool as well as the module libraries and the corresponding version as always in our partner portal.
